Doctor Who 30 Day Challenge: Day 02 (re-do) - Your Favorite Classic Series Episode (Pt. 6) - The Mark of the Rani
The Mark of the Rani was the fourth episode of Colin Baker’s time as the Doctor. The TARDIS lands in 19th century England during The Industrial Revolution. The local population has become oddly violent and unpredictable. His answer can be found inside a local bathouse where two competing enemies - the Master and The Rani - are gassing residents and meddling with their minds. The Sixth Doctor and his companion Peri (Perpugilliam) Brown must stop the two meddling Time Lords and their evil plans. I love this story because it introduces another great enemy Time Lord, of the Doctor along with bringing back the master all in one story. Three brilliant, sassy, badass Time Lords in one small village being fantastic. Also Peri and the Doctor continue with their brilliant on-screen chemistry while doing one of the first, partially-historical stories in a while.
